说明

, float $extend
)
扩充或精简某字体（font_index）。如果
extend 参数的值小于一则是精简该字体。
参数

font_index -
由 imagepsloadfont() 返回的字体资源。
-
extend -
扩展的值，必须大于 0。
返回值
成功时返回 TRUE ， 或者在失败时返回 FALSE 。

It is impossible to use this function with a TrueType (.ttf) fonts.You need to convert font to PostScript Type1 (.pfb) on your own (google - there are free converters too)
